Herman, whose real name was Peter Gulotta, was twice the world bantamweight boxing champion, and for a time was married to (famed madam) Norma Wallace. For a while she operated her business in the rooms above the nightclub.”

    • My grandfather was a bartender there for as long as I can remember. His name is Juan Solis Teofilio aka CHICO. Do you possibly recall anyone with that name?

  2. We used to be in this club every weekend in the sixties… The back room was the hottest place for young people. The Pirates band were regulars and were great… We loved it there.
