The Country Cajuns played the venue and it was regularly packed with students, tourists and Cajun couples who delighted in using the large dancefloor and partaking of the Cajun food and drinks available at the venue.”

  1. The Cajun Bandstand was open as early as 1975. My band, the First National Rotagilla Band played there in January of 1976 and it was well establihed then.

  3. I have several cds of Allen Fontenot and the Country Cajuns. He was a friend of a cousin of mine who lived in New Orleans and she gave me a bottle of the hot sauce that he also made and sold. When I would call him and order a cd I would also order some of his hot sauce that I thought was very good. Does anybody know of anyone who is making the sauce from the same recipe that he used or anyone who has the recipe that would be willing to share it with me. Thanks in advance for any help.
