  2. Trying to help my friend find her biological father. Her mother worked at the Green Lantern. She was born in 1970…so, he would have been a Green Lantern customer in and about 1969. He was a definitely in the Babineaux family. We know this because of DNA testing. She has many, many Babineaux relatives, but, none showing closer than 2nd cousin matches, so it’s hard to pinpoint. He (her father) most likely was a great grandchild of Andre Babineaux and Eve Helen Arceneaux….so far, I have nothing to disprove this theory. Please, help if you can……with information or whatever….possibly, if you are a descendant of Eve and Andre, you can test your DNA to be compared to hers. Thanks.

  3. Good memories from both clubs from 1959-1963. Only way to socialize along with basketball games @rural Lawtell High School. I learned how to dance there and discovered my love for music and fellowship! Everybody knew everybody…Safe and everyone equal.Graduated in 1962.

  4. Great memories..attended Lawtell High 1st- 12th grade ..graduated in 1962..S poo my academic journey began in 1950. We were very rural so not many ways to socialize. The two dancehall and basketball games were all we had..I learned to dance there and became one of the first cheerleaders. All fun with lots of memories to look back on…A part of my life that helped to shape who I am today.
