I remember when he drinking age in Texas was 21, but in Louisiana it was 18. Lou-Ann’s was PACKED with kinds of the 18-19-20 YO range from Orange, Beaumont and HOUSTON etc. Then Texas lowered the age to 18 and it went belly up in a heartbeat. But since then the Federal Government made ALL STATES raise their Drinking age to 21 or they would cut off their FEDERAL MONEY. But again, since the drinking age was the SAME in both states, well Lou-Ann’s never opened again.
