It was a large dance with a waist high fence around the dance floor.. I do remember people bringing small children. My uncle now deceased played bass in a band that playrd at Oncale’s when he was in college at Nicholls. I was about 14 when my grandmother from Chackbay passed away and think that ened my trips to Oncale’s. About a year ago I did see the building and from the outside it looked the same. ...
