Carolyn Hebert Boudreaux: “I spent many nights dancing at the Clover Club in Lacassine, LA. There were always great bands featured there. One of our favorites was The Flames. Most of the members were our classmates, so we were there to dance. I remember that winters were so cold we had to stand around a big heater. What fun and great memories that will live with us forever.”

Listed in “Readers recall clubs where they danced to Louisiana Music” from The Daily Advertiser, December 29, 1998: “Readers of The Daily Advertiser were asked to submit names of’ the clubs where they danced to Louisiana music in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, with a brief recollection of what the club was like and who played there.”

The owner was Spencer Landry.

    • Hi, my family and I live in Lacassine, LA. My parents own Lil Cochon’s. My PawPaw used to race on the race track that was right next to it. We would love a picture of the Clover Club to hang up on our wall if possible. We would greatly appreciate it!

Jason the Clover club is no longer there. It was demolished and property sold and now has a home on it.
