Mentioned in “Louisiana Fiddlers” by Ron Yule and Bill Burge: Country fiddler Bob Henderson played there with Matt and Smiley Bennett in 1951. The club was on Highway 1.

From Louisianafolklife.org: “In the early 1950s, Herman on guitar and his brother who had taken up fiddle began playing country music shows at theaters and schools. Gradually, the band grew to an eight-piece band known as the Louisiana Ramblers and played area clubs such as Club 20 on Highway 1.”
