LouisianaDancehalls.com reader comment by Joan LeBlanc: “My mom was from Duson she and my dad met there. Dad is 86, and has pictures they took in front of The Four Roses when they celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary.”

Don Gassie: “The Four Roses was on the south side of Highway 90 in Duson and often would feature Aldus Roger. People tended to be older and fairly well dressed. I remember a fight there between two middle-aged men. I heard only french at the Four Roses. Near Fieldspan & Elton Road.”
