Combination grocery (left side), bar (center), and dancehall (right). Dancing and bands were usually on the weekends. Erwin Babin & band played there regularly in the 50s and 60s. A member of that band, Johnny Koonse, reported that live chickens were occasionally on the dance floor there. Sold by Aurelian Berthelot in 1958 to Clifford LeGrange- reopened in 1959 after a remodel as the End of the World.
