Submitted by Edward Cazayoux: “Pop’s was one of the main places to go when we were young. It was located about mid way on the Island side of False River. It was a major hang-out for the New Roads teens and young adults. I was one open space with a bar towards the road entrance side and dancing to the River side – mainly juke box music.”
