I would love to see any photos of the Safari Club from the early 1970’s. I used to play in a rock band in that era. The booking agent sent us down from New Orleans to play at the Safari Club. All I remember was the long drive at dusk making our way down and the GREAT reception we got from everyone, especially the guys from all the boats who would frequent the club. It was beautiful the decorations and paintings on the wall. I remember the club facing the bayou and all the cane fields behind the club.
