Mother talked of meeting Dad at Silver Moon during WWII. I always thought that was funny, since he could not dance a step. He was originally from Provencal, Louisiana (strict Baptist). He was stationed at Camp Claiborne during WWII before being sent overseas. Mom and Dad married before he left.
