Vaughn’s Tavern

Vaughn’s Tavern was on the East Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee. It hosted many wedding receptions and Saturday night dances. The owner, Russell Vaughn, was known to jump over the bar to get between patrons when an argument became heated or a fight broke out.
